A collaboration with Visual Artist, Andrew Luk. As part of the development of the piece, dancers self-calibrate their embodiment of the choreography with nuanced alterations, thereby ergonomically personalizing its structure and design. 

 

Haptic Compression investigates the variety and variability of the touch of individuals, working with fleeting moments sensitivity and impulses while intertwined with memory and consciousness. As mechanized actions and disarming reactions synthesize, surface and substance congeal with a separate from a volatile surface-scape.
